Another update....
Last Saturday Heather and some of the PC ladies had a baby shower for me. It was very thoughtful and was good for me :) I needed to be back around people I know and who are used to me, haha. I really do miss my friends and that has been the hardest thing about this switching schools business. I was lucky enough to meet some fabulous people while I did work there though and hanging out with them for an afternoon was exactly what I needed. The cake was amazing and I got some adorable new things for Madelyn.

Adorable little Mary Jane socks from Bev!

Carson helping me open gifts!

Look at this adorable cake :)

Also last weekend Andy and I took a tour of the hospital. (this time because we signed up for one lol) We saw labor and delivery, the nursery, and the postpartum rooms. It was just one more step to helping me feel more relaxed and it really did help. Plus we got to see some teeny adorable babies in the nursery and that made me pretty excited.
Today we had a doctor appointment and it went really well. Everything is still looking great and on track. I still have a hard time believing my blood pressure is good but they always give me the numbers and I trust them. Getting on the scale made me cringe a bit but I know she is putting on the pounds and the scale will show those so I just smile and move on :) At first her heartbeat seemed weak but we came to the conclusion she was just sleeping (it was time for our afternoon nap after all, lol) and we poked her a few times to wake her up. It jumped right back to normal when she woke up. We also confirmed that it is definitely her feet I have been feeling in my ribs...ouch. I can't wait to see those precious little feet though! I am only a centimeter and a half dilated and 60% effaced, which doesn't mean much is happening soon but it is nice to know that something IS happening. I know she will come when she is ready, but in the meantime Andy and I are SO excited and we just sit and wait! What's 4 more weeks when I've waited this long to hold and kiss my little one? :)
