Madelyn started TK this week. She is now going to school from 8 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday. She went right in on her first day and was excited to be there with no fear at all. She has spent this week adjusting to school and routines. I made her a little chart telling her what to wear each day (she has uniforms) so she can get herself ready each morning. I have backed off a little each day and by Thursday she was entering the school building, unpacking her backpack, and putting all her things away independently. I am so proud of her. Her teacher sent me an email and it said " Madelyn and I hit it off right from the start. She is AWESOME!!! She makes me smile :) ".
Carson has started using the potty full time! I have not purchased diapers for him in over a month. He stills wears pull ups when we go places, but 90% of the time he keeps it dry and we are able to keep putting the same pull up back on. He tells me he has to go, gets to the potty, and I am so proud of him. He is such a big boy, but I am so excited to not be buying diapers for 2 kids anymore :-)
I can officially say Zoey is sleeping through the night! This is just short of a miracle considering it took the other 2 over a year to figure this out. She goes to sleep around 10 PM and doesn't wake up until 6 AM. It is glorious to get that much sleep with a baby that is only 10 weeks old. She started off last week sleeping 7 hours straight, then did a couple nights of 8 hours, and last night she slept from 9:45-6:45. Thank you Zoey for being such a great baby and excellent sleeper! At her 2 month check up she was 10 pounds and 2 ounces. She is continuing the trend of being the middle sized child. She is bigger than Madelyn, but still smaller than Carson was.
I am so excited for each of their milestones. Each one of my amazing babies is at a different stage of accomplishments, but I am proud of all 3 of them more than I can put into words. Watching them grow is so bittersweet. Madelyn told Zoey today "When you turn 4, we can get a van and watch tv in the car!" So cute.
