hungry

I am starving! Since I failed the one hour glucose screening I am currently in the process of takng the 3 hour glucose test. What a not fun experience. I was not supposed to eat after 8 PM last night and I was hungry and thirsty by 8:30. Of course I had to stay hungry and then wake up hungry today. Not to mention drinking a large amount of nasty nasty stuff and being poked in the arm 4 times. This must be pregnancy day here I have never seen this lab so busy!

I keep telling Andy that when we leave here we are getting a delicious lunch wherever :) I may have gestational diabetes, I may not...but I deserve something delicious after this. I won't know the results until my appointment on Tuesday so one "bad for me" meal today isn't going to hurt me or Maddie.

A positive to all this is that I can sit here on the internet :) Andy and I went out and bought the netbook I wanted last night so now I have my itty bitty computer with internet access that I can take anywhere. It is helping the time pass faster I think. There is no reason this child shouldn't be the most technologically savy baby I know. Between her dad and me we have to own every piece of new technology that comes out. Just now we are sitting in this waiting room with 2 blackberries, 2 laptops, and a nintendo DS. She will know technology, haha. :)
